Days Inn Stafford

We booked a family room, the room was really spacious, for us with a 10 and 14 year old. the single beds off on a separate section which was the size of the main area again.- compared to a family room at Premier Inn (which we've now outgrown) it was lovely to have the space and it was quiet, comfortable and had a plug in fan and efficient heaters in both rooms to warm up the room. We had a great night's sleep. Staff were Lovely, friendly and helpful -you can purchase breakfast vouchers at reception for the services where £10 will coat you £7.50- can be used at Costa and McDonald's and no issues to buy them- entrance to the services are right next door to the entrance to the hotel. Parking is free but reception will need to log your reg when you check in. The hotel was dog friendly with little treats and Cute Halloween Decs..lots of effort to make people feel welcomed in a motorway services. The price was brilliant in comparison to nearby hotels..we stayed here for going to Alton Towers which was around 40 mins away by card- further than we'd be wanted but so glad we did as it was the perfect easy place to get your head down and use as a base for your travels.

When we arrived at the days Inn hotel we was greeted by the lovely lady Sonia. She is fantastic. Great customer service. Sometimes it is not the quality of the hotel it’s the service which makes your time a better experience. Also I would like to add Sonias sister Trish (think it’s Trish ) she was very friendly and polite. Great manager skills. Can we also add Julie from the rest bite restaurant. She went above and beyond . Great customer service . All in all myself and family has a great stay and would highly recommend friends and family to stay with you guys. Emma and matt

Tbh I've stayed in hotels with more stars that were disappointing. This hotel is cheap, on the M6, clean, warm, and I slept well. Approved at 1am in a party of six and the bloke on reception was really cheerful and nice. Had a hot shower, charged all the phones and then left early. Bed wasn't even uncomfortable. I don't know why it only has two stars there wasn't anything wrong with it, what do people expect for the money? I was actually surprised how comfy it was.

Clean, comfortable, affordable. Check in was quick and fuss free with friendly staff - not loads of extra hoops to jump through because you bring a dog which is a rare treat. Enough tea a coffee in the room for a cuppa in the evening and the morning - the little things! Hot powerful shower.
